Bering Straits Native Corporation PV Solar

Project Outline

The Bering Straits Native Corporation, located in Nome, installed a 16.8 kW solar PV array on their office building in March, 2008. The PV array produces about 16,000 kWh of electricity per year, offsetting about 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel.
