Weatherization Assistance Program

Introduction

The Alaska Weatherization Assistance Program, funded by Alaska Housing Finance Corporation and U.S. Department of Energy, is the largest residential energy efficiency program in the nation.¹ The program helps low income homeowners or residents to reduce their energy use, thereby reducing their energy costs.
